"Women & AI: Breaking the Glass Ceiling"
Mar 21, 2026
What happens when women across sectors come together to talk about AI not as a buzzword, but as lived reality? At Future Shift Labs, under the Yashoda AI campaign, we hosted a roundtable on“𝗪𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻 & 𝗔𝗜: 𝗕𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗚𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀 𝗖𝗲𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴.”What began as an icebreaker quickly turned into a candid exchange.Across 𝘫𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘯𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘴𝘮, 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘵𝘩𝘤𝘢𝘳𝘦, 𝘭𝘢𝘸, 𝘢𝘤𝘢𝘥𝘦𝘮𝘪𝘢, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘣𝘶𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘴, women spoke about AI already reshaping their work raising real concerns around privacy, deepfakes, misinformation, and changing roles, while also recognising the urgency of moving from awareness to capability. One thing stood out women are not resisting AI.They are engaging with it critically and pushing for more responsible adoption. The way forward is clear: build capacity at the grassroots, create safe spaces to learn, bridge tech and humanities, and embed ethics from the start. This is what Yashoda AI is working towards.Grateful to Pamposh Raina, Dr. Kulveen Trehan, Parul Goswami, Rushati Ghosh, Subhra Priyadarshini, Deepika D., Swati Mudgal, Khushboo Ojha, Dr Mini Mehta and Deepti Bhatia for the depth they brought to the room.Moderated by Devika Mehta. Brought together by Parul Madan.𝘛𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘪𝘴 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘣𝘦𝘨𝘪𝘯𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨.
