About the Workshop

YASHODA AI @ LPU is a flagship Artificial Intelligence awareness and empowerment workshop hosted in collaboration with REDDIX, School of Computer Applications (LPU), the National Commission for Women (NCW), and Future Shift Labs (FSL). This event brings India’s largest national-level AI literacy initiative YASHODA AI (Your AI Sakhi for Shaping Horizons with Digital Awareness) to the campus of Lovely Professional University.

 

The workshop aims to equip students from all domains with a foundational understanding of AI, its real-world applications, and the rapidly growing opportunities in the AI-driven future. At the same time, it highlights critical issues such as AI safety, cyber risks, deepfakes, online fraud, and digital well-being, empowering students to navigate the digital world with confidence and responsibility.

 

The event features expert-led sessions by industry professionals, technologists, authors, and AI educators who bring rich insights from the forefront of innovation. Students will also participate in the YASHODA AI Quiz, followed by the launch of the YASHODA AI Campus Ambassador Program, which provides leadership opportunities for selected students to serve as AI awareness champions within the university.

YASHODA AI @ LPU is designed to inspire, inform, and empower students to become digitally aware, future-ready individuals who can contribute meaningfully to India’s AI-driven tomorrow.
